Looking for a buzz? Here is your activity on the Island in your vacation! Looking for a activity for your family, school or teambuilding? We are giving beehive- tours!
We love to spread the important task what bees have and we are proud to show the work what we are doing. We will educate the incredible work of the honey bees, explain you about the dances and everything you would like to know about those busy bees. We will go to some beehive’s and see the work what they doing from a close look. Of course we will give you the tast of our local honey!
We start the tour by our Celbees store room, there you get your bee suit and gloves for the activity. You will follow with your own transport our beekeeper to the place where the beehive tour is located.
After you will come back to cool off, drink something, tast honey and see all the products what we are making on the Island. Maybe you find here your nature local souvenir to bring home with.
The tour is a family friendly experience and children are welcome.
This experience is not suitable for individuals who have allergic reaction to bees, although the risk is very low. The beehive tours are always on your own risk.
Because of the high temperature on the Island and you wearing a full covered suit for this activity, we prefer to do the beehive tour in the afternoon. Saturdays we don’t give tours.

Besides the 2 tours what we describe, St. Eustatius have more to offer. Did you know that we have a natural pool on the Island? That hike is for the real adventures because it will take a while to reach it and it have no shade from the hot sun. Tour policy
Cancellation
We ask that you provide us with a 24hours notice of cancellation for any appointments.
Missed appointments will result in a full price payment.
Groups discount
For all tours we give 15% discount by groups from 6 people and more.
Weather
We live in the Caribbean climate where we can also have good rain showers. The tours can only take place by dry weather. If the weather expectation is to raining, we need to reschedule the tour. If that is not possible because of your or our schema, we refund the booking as required.

Meeting & returning point

The tour includes:
- English speaking tour guide
- Demonstration by the beekeeper
- Beekeepers suit & gloves (we have beekeepers suits in adult sizes M, L, XL)
- Water
- Fresh honey tasting
What to bring:
- Wear closed shoes, preferable high walking boots and long socks
- Own transport – let us know if that’s not possible
Note:
- Do not wear parfum or deodorants with strong aroma as this can trigger bees
